On November 9, 2010, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued final rules and regulations for the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). The new regulations offer additional clarification on definitions and sample language for employers.
The effective date of the new regulations is January 10, 2011.
